Hope you’re having a great day!.. My Sunday was lovely.. very leisurely and not-much-to-do kinda day which is perfect for a Sunday 😉
This post is dedicated to a friends birthday party theme.. Dress Code- Oriental .. She looked absolutely gorgeous! My take on it, is the outfit below. I decided to opt for a top that was basically a traditional Chinese style. I got this particular one at a touristy stall in Central in one of the Alley ways dedicated to tourists! 😉 it was not expensive and just fit the bill for what I wanted.
Now the most traditional would be a Cheong Sam which is the the traditional style dress but I wanted something I could mix and match with a skirt or trousers to go for a day or night look or even change it up so it looks different the next time I wear it.
I wore this top with my JONI jeans from Topshop!.. love them!..
I did not wear this make-up look for the party..although I wish I had ..its the Kylie Jenner make-up inspired look I got after watching pixie woo on Youtube do a tutorial on this look. I really enjoyed trying to re-create it.. Sorry about my super shiny forehead ;-((..need to use a matt powder there next time!
I used Mac’s lipliner in Spice and Mac’s TWIG lipstick to get this shade although the actual one used in the tutorial was Soar lipliner from Mac and Honey love from mac. But I really like the combo I used too for my skin tone!!.. very happy I tried this look out 😉
