On Sunday we decided (husband and me) to go for Sichuan food with our son Nathan. We’ve been there before and knew the food would be hot and spicy and great..perfect for our Indian palettes 😉
It was a rainy wet Sunday and this gave the sky a beautiful blue grey shade .. so calming that I was tempted to take a lot of pics of the Hk landscape and buildings etc. Thought I would put it up for all of you to enjoy too 😉
The food was great as expected.. We got wontons in chilli oil (this was too spicy for us!!) but good.. took a few tissues, tears and sniffling but it was good!!.. The main course was Ginger Beef, Sizzling lamb and Fish fried with garlic and peppers… all good and the ginger beef wasn’t too spicy and neither was the lamb so balanced out the flavours a bit..and yes I did overeat as it was all delicious.
This is the more recent ICC tower in Kowloon
Here is the ever famous Bank of China tower …seen in almost all of the postcards showing off the HK skyline.
We went to Qi- House of Sichuan in Wan Chai.
The Wontons in Chilli oil and the fish with garlic in the back ground.
The famous Ginger beef
I chose to wear something comfy for this casual dinner with my family. My cotton top from Zara proved to be just the thing.. and paired with cream trousers also from Zara. I felt cool and comfy.. top priority when going out on a hot day.
Hope you enjoyed this slightly different post 😉
