Hi Everyone,

Another Monday and another day to talk about make-up 😉

Today I am excited to share with you a new acquisition and that is my Clinique Cheek pop,Blush pop blush  (grin .. that is the name) in Berry Pop.

It is one of the new Blushes that Clinique has come out with for Spring 2014. They come in four shades Berry Pop, Plum Pop, Peach Pop and Ginger Pop. These blushes are said to give you an effortless, natural flush, with build able coverage.

I absolutely adore the packaging and think the blush itself is gorgeous!. I got the blush in a shade that I did not have anything similar to. All the shades are super pretty though 😉

here is what the blush looks like in regular daylight.

It is a beautiful Bright pink / Berry colour. It has a soft sheen when applied on the skin giving the skin a nice fresh dewy look. The colour is not super pigmented but very buildable. I love that it looks very soft and almost translucent on the skin.

I also want to mention this blush applies more like a cream blush than a powder blush and I think that is what makes it look soft and dewy  on the skin. You do have to work with it well though as initially you may be surprised that not much comes off on the brush.. but don’t give up, apply it gently and you will see it looks gorgeous 😉

I wore it yesterday for my blog post ..

For the rest of my makeup I primed my face with a moisturiser, then applied concealer in Macs prolong wear NW35 and used my foundation in Macs prolong wear foundation in NC42 and a small amount of NC44.

Then for my eyes, I used the UD Naked 2 palette. But first primed the eyelid with Macs paint pot in Painterly, then went over it with Half baked from the Naked 2 palette all over the eyelid, Chopper in the crease area and blend it well, finally I used Busted at the outer edge of the eyelid for dept..blending again.. lined with Eyeliner from Dolly wink (available at Sasa)

For the water line used a pencil from Urban Decay the 24/7 Glide-on eye pencil in Zero.

For blush used my clinique Berry Pop for the cheeks and NARS lovejoy for contouring.

Finally for lipstick I wanted a pinky mauve colour so lined my lips with a pink lipliner from Dior, Candy Rose and filled it in with Macs Rebel (want to do a make up look with this lipstick next week – love it!!)

For setting the makeup I used Macs Studio Careblend pressed powder in Medium Dark.

Hope you all have a great week ahead!
