A make-up post for you guys.. I was on the look out for the new L’Oreal blushes available in stores now.. and found them in our local store Mannings ..yay!. After looking at the range they had available in, I chose the colour 02 Fuchsia Flush.
These blushes are packaged really well and I wanted to get a blush that would be suitable for Autumn and winter. This particular one fit the bill or rather got me more interested than the others as it looked the brightest of the lot, the other three are softer colours but very pretty as well.
According to the L’Oreal website these blushes come in ..
3 colour pigments and give an immediate rosy, healthy glow.
The blush is lightweight to wear and leaves the skin comfortable. Makes your cheeks looks fuller, more radiant and youthful.
I would agree this blush does feel very soft and lightweight on the skin.. the colour payoff for this particular colour is great.. you have to be very careful not to overdo it as it is very pigmented.
The blush comes in a beautifully packaged rose gold lid box with a great mirror inside. The brush that comes along with it isn’t that bad either and can be used when on the go and for touch ups.
This particular one has three strips of colours from the darkest being a dark fuchsia, to a medium toned pink to a cool toned light pink.
I have only used this a couple of times but am loving the colour payoff..even though it is very pigmented but used well gives a beautiful finish.
I think this blush is the most suited to medium and darker skin tones. Lighter skin tones may find it difficult to control the amount of pigment and need a lot of blending to make it more wearable.
It was $99 (hkd) here in Hong kong which is not a bad price for a blush that will last quite a while.
They do come in three other shades- Blushing Kiss, Sunset Glow and Duchess Rose.
Blushing kiss is a coral, pinky shade. Sunset glow as the name suggests is a more orange toned coral blush shade and Duchess Rose is a beautiful plumy pinky shade.
